Caladec ™ 4148 Overdrive Pedal
Named for the soft-clipping diodes that give this overdrive its characteristic “Mid Frequency Punch,” the 4148 is our homage to the original classic Overdrives built in the 1970’s.
Hand built in Nashville, TN, the 4148 Overdrive is built using “Through Hole” construction on high quality printed circuit boards, using the Dual Inline Pin version of the 4558 OpAmp. High quality capacitors and carbon film resistors combine to provide a wide, full overdrive, that fits perfectly in a band setting, as well as in recordings.
